Looking for something for my mum - can you help?

My mum is 63 yrs old. I know that whatever I buy her she will ask for the gift receipt so it's hard to get excited about buying her a present but she is actually going to be opening the present in front of me this year, albeit not on Christmas day, so I'd like it to be something she likes (because she'll be unable to pretend).

What are you getting your mum?

How about vouchers for the theatre/cinema etc? TBO she sounds like an ungrateful so and so asking for the gift receipt.

Yes, it does sound ungrateful. She just doesn't have any concept of how it comes across. She always gives me the gift receipt for the present she gives to me. Strange.

I don't think my mum would ever go top the theatre but the cinema is a good idea.

I think I'm going to get her some Molton Brown items. What's not to like?
