Homemade foodie presents - help with packaging!

This year for my sins (!) I agreed in a drunken moment to make homemade bailey's for Christmas presents this year and my DDs have got in on the act and want to make truffles to give to their godparents. I'm all for it and think its actually quite a good idea (maybe not the baileys!) but does anyone have any ideas on how I can make them look nice rather than just a sandwich bag or Tupperware which is my normal method of delivery??!
I've googled and its a minefield and some looked v v expensive so all ideas v welcome!

My dc are doing coconut ice, I have bought some lovely cheap Christmassy clear wrap I might try to wrap up like those mini bags of thorntons you can get, tie at the top with a ribbon. If that doesn't work will stick them in Kilner jars.

Don't waste your time, unless you have a food safety certificate, if you don't it will be received with a smile then chucked in the bin.

thanks muffcakes - nice idea! Oh deepfriedsage - my friends know me pretty well and I'm quite handy in the kitchen! They will gladly devour it - I have no doubt! But I will be standing over DDs to make sure they don't cough and splutter too much over the mixture....!

I have a level 3 food safety cert, more then qualified to run a kitchen let alone put a few sweet things in a bag.

Another quick and easy food gift my dc make for family is marzipan balls dipped in dark chocolate. Grandparents love those.

pop in a cellophane bag (either buy cake pop bags via amazon or the poundshop is selling them) - fold over the top and seal with two staples. the cut a rectangle of card, no wider than the width of the cellophane bag - fold in half and then secure with staples over the folded end of cellophane. decorate the card with christmas stamps and stickers and write on it what's in the bag.
