Who else has got paper advent calendars?

[Meglet]

Yes, I'm mean and won't let them have chocolate advent calendars. Although I did have to re-mortgage the house to buy paper ones .

Who else?.........

We have! Well DD has. She is three - there is no way I'm letting her loose on a chocolate one. Imagine the tantrums in January when there is no longer chocolate every morning - doesn't bear thinking about

Me! I don't do chocolate advent calendars either. Supporting our local independent bookshop in the process. I'm super smug!

The silly thing is that I whinged all childhood asking for a chocolate calendar. Then I bought myself one in my 20's and it was pants, such a disappointment.

Ours were from paperchase and waterstones.

yes - infact we have 3 (and a wooden one with pull out drawers) ... not a chocolate in sight
