Just did my first. I predict dc2 will have ripped it by about 8.30 tomorrow morning.

NannyPlumForPM · 30/11/2013 20:50

Do they all need assembling or are some pre-done? We have forest animals and it looks assembled!

Hawkmoth · 30/11/2013 20:50

I've got the new ones. But still took ten minutes to do the background!

BeaWheesht · 30/11/2013 20:51

What??? Dd has the wedding one - do I need to assemble it?!

HoneyDragon · 30/11/2013 20:54

I've done the cardboard woodland bit ready, or rather, I glared it and thrust it husbandwards, and now it's done.

Calamityjude · 30/11/2013 20:58

oh no! I have 2 to assemble, I thought that the dc's would be able to do it. Confused They are 8 and 5. Please reassure me they can as I am useless playmobil assembler!

Lilicat1013 · 30/11/2013 22:16

We have the woodland animals and the only bit that needed assembling is the cardboard play scene. Embarrassingly I couldn't even do that and got my husband to do it.

Melfish · 30/11/2013 23:00

Thanks for the warning, just wrestled the wedding one into position (with the help of discreet sellotaping).

OverAndAbove · 01/12/2013 07:29

I have the old-style one with the boxes and I am hoping that in my usual smug fashion, I put it away pre-loaded ::fingers and toes crossed::

Yes to Sellotape! I always Sellotape the cardboard tabs down with one of those tabs of Sellotape so they can be removed to fold it down if you want to keep it for next year. You must Sellotape the cardboard scene underneath otherwise on or about the 20th December it will suddenly fall apart and the tabs will ping out and your their carefully constructed scene will go pinging off all over then place and some vital microscopic part such as the snowmans carrot nose will disappear for ever to much crying and wailing until it is found 3 years later behind the washing machine while moving house, causing you to look like an idiot in front of the removal men when you rush in screaming "I found the snowmans nose!", to a nonchalant "oh, ok, great" from the pre-teen who was so upset 3 years ago
