Can anybody recommend a good thick garland, ideally prelim?

We make one. Miles cheaper. Dead easy. We use battery operated LED lights to light it then there are no hanging wires.

failing that our Homebase had some, as did BandQ

I've bought one from QVC (but I cannot tell you how good it is because it's in the box still)

Go onto qvcuk.com and put Bethlehem Lights in search.

I have one of their wreaths ( IIRC this will be the 3rd Christmas) it's gorgeous, can go outside and comes with batteries. It can be timer-set (mine goes on at 4pm for 6 hours I think)

So my garland is for the mantlepiece. It has berries and prelit.
(I've got a mantle decoration too in red/gold fabric)

a red/gold tree skirt

flameless candles
