So we visited FC in his grotto at the Christmas fair and dd1 has now insisted he is getting her a furby boom Hmm before I completely shut down the idea help me understand..
What's the difference between a furby and a furby boom?
Does it work with android devices? (We have no apple products)
Is it one of those things that gets played with for 5mins and then forgotten about?
Is there anywhere doing a good offer?
Tia

the new ap will only work with the furby boom, and they can hatch eggs on it to have little virtual furbies on the device. They work on android (I have already downloaded the ap onto our samsung galaxy note and tested it out to save potential tears xmas day. I would say if your child is old enough to have seen the ads and be aware of the hatching babies then go for the boom or they might be dissapointed that it doesnt do everything they want it to iyswim. We picked ours up for £44 using money off codes for tesco.

as for long long will they get played with my guess is it depends on the child. I had one as a young teenager and loved it lol! There isn't an off switch or a volume control though so be warned!

I am going to tell you everything you need to know about Furbys and I am going to do it in 1 sentence.

THEY DON'T HAVE AN OFF BUTTON

LOL - thanks for the warning!! She has seen the ads and I think we have also fallen foul of their sneaky marketing through mcdonalds Hmm. Might see if my mum will buy it for her as FC doesn't bring big presents to our house (this excuse has got me out of many sticky situations).
