Can I ask what you are getting for young adult dc's?

I have a 20 year old ds. Just wondered what everyone is getting for similar aged dc's? I also have a 12 year old so don't like the older one to feel left out. He still gets a stocking and an advent calendar etc.

My Ds is 22. We don't really do big presents for Christmas except for younger children, but this year even less due to lack of funds! So for Ds I have a beanie hat with headphones built in and smartphone gloves plus some Celebrations. In past years for example I have bought a gift pack of Lynx and a voucher for TopMan.

Ours are awful to buy for because they buy what they want themselves. This year we're paying for gym membership and then they will have a stocking with the usual smellies, chocs, socks.

DSS is 21. We've got him the new lego Xbox game and a geeky tshirt. Will probably give him (and his GF) a ticketmaster giftcard as well as they love going to musicals.

Mine are getting sonic toothbrushes and alarm clocks .

Onesie

Smartphone gloves

Cinema voucher for the cinema chain in her university town

hat / scarf / gloves

She probably just wants hard cash :(

I am getting DD2 (18) a cushion for her dorm room. The cover will have this embroidered on it by my own fair hand. She was a huuuuuuge Lion King II fan when she was little.

DS (20) -- I have absolutely no idea but probably a pair of Levis.
DD1 (23) something for her apartment and maybe some art supplies.

The youngest DDs are 15 and 12. I have already bought some Elf makeup and some perfume that was on sale, but don't know who is getting what.

Everyone will have a tiny stocking with German choc stuffed inside. It's all hiding in my sideboard (last Christmas I forgot this detail until Christmas Eve and what a day that turned out to be).

I have about one week to come up with a little more. Maybe a handbag for DD3 (15) as her current bag is a bit small. DD4 likes earrings but she has a gazillion pairs...
I hate shopping at the last minute.

Mine are each getting £50 in cash plus a surprise present worth about £15 (not yet bought actually, but might be something silly or surprising. I do need to give this some thought actually).

I also do them each a stocking with 12 small things in (sweets, toiletries etc).

Thanks everyone. This has been a great help as all seem to be of the same mind. Good to know I'm on the right track.

Thanks again Grin

My 20yr old nephew is getting Wacky Socks and a 'Cake Mug' (mug with recipe on side to make chocolate cake in in microwave) which I figure will be useful at Uni!
