Presents for BIL and new gf?!?!?! help!!

Bil is likely to get the girls colouring books and crayons again...he has a new gf who none of us know very well.

I've been looking for something for them as a joint gift but not doing v. well. My best idea is a 'cinema stocking'...cheap dvd, popcorn, couple of vodka & mixer type cans of drinks, and maybe a card game or drinking game. I think I can source it all in Home Bargains/ poundshops.

Any better ideas before I go shopping on Monday? Smile

cineworld is going a cinema gift box for £20. it's what I've bought my 20yr old brother and his gf. It's got vouchers inside for:

  • two 3d adult tickets
  • two regular drinks
  • a regular popcorn
  • two galaxy chocolates

I think it's better value than buying all separately.

I'm getting my sis and new boyfriend a cinema stocking too! Gift voucher for showcase, popcorn etc. I'm also getting them a night in stocking with wine, chocs etc.

I don't think they'd use actual cinema vouchers, they don't seem to go anywhere really other than wander round town or visit his mum.

Wonder if nice selection boxes or something like that might be better.

(it's only meant to be cheap and cheerful, none of us spend a lot on adults, just something to open)

What age are they? Cooking? You could put together the bits to make a good curry or similar?

lucysmam · 30/11/2013 11:22

They're 27 and ?...not sure how old she is but she's definitely younger...maybe 22ish Confused

Ingredients for something might be a good idea, he enjoys cooking

You could print off an interesting recipe and put the dry ingredients in a gift bag. Might be a bit different?

Recipe ingredients from The Spicery? About a fiver and come in a gift box delivered. They just add chicken and onion or whatever.
