I'm sure I read a thread about this already and I thought I'd watched it, but I can't find it and I've been searching for ages, so please forgive me asking again.

What can I cook for DBro's pescatarian GF for Christmas dinner? I need something fishy or vegetarian that would go well with most of the traditional Christmas accompaniments - roast potatoes, sprouts, red cabbage, roast parsnips, probably some vegetarian chestnut stuffing etc.

Something that can be prepared in advance would be great.

Or point me in the direction of a fantastic supermarket dish that she'd like.

Thank you.

Salmon en croute - shop bought pastry, according to Mary Berry can be assembled and popped in the fridge 24 hours before it's needed and then a blast in the oven - would look impressive.

Was this the thread you were looking for? I won't repeat it all on here, but there were some good suggestions. I'd say one of the veggie things (mushroom wellington, nut roast etc) would probably go better with the rest of the Christmas dinner than salmon.

Thank you!
I think the mushroom en croute sounds great.
