I have brought ds main presents but it looks a bit mean compared to the others. have got usual gift set of lynx a wwe wrestling annual, socks and pants from topman. But im stuck for some more suggestions, ideally need 5 or 6 items no more than £10 an item.

My DS is 15.

I just bought him a box of wine gums. Two quid from a supermarket.

I will also get him a sporting autobiography or two, they are about £7 - £9 at Asda.

Sorry, not truly inspirational!

thegreylady · 27/11/2013 21:06

wooden square/pyramid puzzle
Inbetweeners Year Book
my biggest success with dgs last year was a transparent puzzle maze that you put money in but had to move a ball bearing round a omplicated maze to open it-he spent hours getting the tenner out [you could use £5] and then put £1 coin in to try again!
Torch is always good
dvd
stylus
'smart gloves' to use touch screen out of doors
a belt

HidingUnderMyDuvet · 27/11/2013 21:06

maybe some other bits, like earphones that I haven't got yet.

brainwashed · 28/11/2013 21:18

One of those page a day desk Calendars...lots of different types to choose from.
Chocolate and sweets
Magazines
Pencils/pens etc
Christmas socks!

Dontletthemgetyoudown · 29/11/2013 12:45

haha hugo- although he wouldn't eat that I has fruit in it and some semblance of goodness!

As a boy he only likes basic pens pencils notebooks etc or college, so he'll just have to have multipacks of those to open. even ds2 (11) lets me buy him slightly nicer stuff, e.g pens that smell of pizza and mint from Blott and an automatic pencil sharpener. pizza pen sharpener

Cute travel deodorants

potterpaint · 29/11/2013 13:57

Love the memory stick idea - and will steal it, plus the money maze idea. Also have bought those touch-screen gloves though the delivery may not be until 31st December (in which case I have just bought my first Christmas 2014 gift!).

DS also had
A mini pot of fake snow with a mini shovel - his sister has the same and I thought they could have a snowman competition. (What 16 year-old could resist!)
Life of Brian DVD
highlighters for revising (ha!)
a new wallet
pack of cards
keyring
Nano lego block guitar (www.amazon.co.uk/Nanoblock-Nbc037-Electric-Guitar-Red/dp/B0055QAKCW/ref=sr_1_3?s=kids&ie=UTF8&qid=1385733368&sr=1-3&keywords=nano+lego)
Much chocolate
