a few weeks ago i was at a carboot sale and someone was selling a mc donalds drive through- it was like a kitchen with a window and came with mc donalds food. my son really wanted it and i thought it would be good for christmas so i went back to the car and DH sat with him and i was going to go back and get it, but when i went back it had gone Sad

ive been looking on gumtree but there are none and there are a few on ebay but are collection only- i live in northern ireland and they are all mainland UK.

So i dont suppose anyone has one they would sell me and wouldnt mind posting over?

please??

Not selling one, but I'd LOVE one for myself, it's amazing! Good luck finding it, I never even knew they existed.

RobinSparkles · 27/11/2013 13:30

Hope you get one! It sounds like the kind of thing Dd2 would love. She plays McDonalds through the ladder of her bunk bed (pretends it's a window).

I don't know where she got that from as we NEVER go to McDonalds. Oh no, not us. Lies

MrsLoveBucket · 27/11/2013 13:36

Can you message the sellers on eBay to see if they would be ok if you were to organise a courier for the item?

Collect plus is really simple to use and would only cost around a tenner if they could drop it into a local shop to post for you.

HenriettaPie · 27/11/2013 15:34

Yeh I have asked but no luck, they would all rather it be collected. Maybe I should just keep watching them and if they don't sell I will ask again.

They don't seem to make them anymore, my brother had one about 14 years ago so they are an old toy!

Haha Robin, I know what you mean, I'm waiting in people coming into the thread to tell me their disgust that my 3yo likes mc donalds!! Wink

...have you tried this one on E-Bay - comes without a food set though - but perhaps the food set would be easier to find on E-Bay

Not the same but I've got a feeling that Sylvannian Families do a drive through.

campocaro · 28/11/2013 09:48

Here you go HenriettaPie I find the values imparted by that toy extremely depressing. Mind you, until my daughter was about 5 she though McDonalds was a public toilet because that was all we used them for.

Sorry about my cynicism but maybe you should be saving up for next year´s must have toy? Drive through private gastric band surgery´anyone?Grin

HenriettaPie · 28/11/2013 11:14

Ah here we go, always one! WinkGrin

McDonald's is one of my 2 year olds favourite places. She likes to get a bottle of milk and a straw. McDonald's isn't inherently evil. It's up to you what you buy.

mum2jakie · 28/11/2013 15:00

I own one of these. I bought it about three years ago from ToysRUs inshore. (I've checked the website and it isn't listed on there but they do sometimes have different items inshore. I don't know if you have ToysRUs in NI?)

My youngest son still plays with his as I would have otherwise considered pricing it up postage wise! It would be quite expensive as, even though it can come apart the base section is pretty big The doors don't stay on very well but my two younger boys have both loved this toy and enjoy role playing with it.

Good luck with finding one!

mum2jakie · 28/11/2013 15:02

Oh - missed the post that you've managed to locate one. Glad you're sorted!

HenriettaPie · 28/11/2013 16:18

Thanks so much anyway mumtojackie, yes we have a toys r us and I looked instore but no joy, thankfully I've got that one of amazon now! Can't wait to see DS's face, no doubt we will have to pretend to eat chicken nuggets and fries all Christmas Day! Smile
