I'm really excited for Christmas this year as my DS is just that bit older than he was last year and so I am hoping he will love it Smile. The thing is I never had a stocking growing up, could someone please give me ideas of what sort of things I could put in an 18mnths stocking, thanks xx

Wilkos have some nice wooden instruments for £2 each. I got my 1yos some maracas and clacky things and a little flute which they can make a noise with!

Don't forget the satsuma in the toe.

Hi Mumto185 our DS is just 2 this Christmas. We haven't got him an awful lot (and birthday is next week!), but so far for his stocking we've got:

Spongebob toothbrush
Spongebob beaker (free with Mummy's jar of Nutella!)
Silly inflatable beachball with small ball inside
Plastic shaker-thing with three very noisy bells on (looks rather like a knuckle duster!)
A snap-on snowman for his wrist - he loved the anti-mosquito one he had for the summer.
Couple of little cars
Couple of Mr Men books
Jar of Play doh (they do some for different ages)

Might have a couple more bits, can't think off the top of my head. We'll wrap everything as that''ll be half the fun at this age!

Main presents are:
Fire station tent
123 zoo
Ikea Train with extra track
Some plastic playfood (he likes throwing things and we have tiled floors throughout. We love plastic!)
Bunch of books
Wooden jigsaws - he got a lovely one last year from Imaginarium: farm animals which, when you pick them up with their little pegs, have patterned fur underneath, DS loves it! Is there Imaginarium in UK? Everything from there is lovely.

We might get another small thing - oh, other than the snake I'm making with some of his old baby clothes, they grow so quickly Sad

I've gotten ds who has just turned two:
A big boy cup
New toothbrush
Chocolate coins
Some tiny soft toys from ikea (can't remember exact name but they were 40p and I got a polar bear, a moose and a snake. They also have some lovely finger puppets too.)
A wind up marching soldier (dotcomgiftshop have a few wind up toys which would be perfect for stocking fillers)
New socks
A little lush robot bath bomb

Might get a few more things if I see stuff he likes but essentially that's it.

Oh and of course the satsuma/Clementine.
