I've done pottery painting before and glass painting,has anyone got any other ideas please?

Salt dough hand prints?

Peppermint ice is quite easy, grandpa got a big box of peppermint snowflakes.

Also marzipan fruits.

Dates stuffed with marzipan, spiced nuts, rocky road, depending on the age of the child really.
If they can sew, eg back stitch, then a simple holiday travel sewing kit.
Book marks, with a drawing and a punched hole for ribbon.
Earrings, with beads and findings.
If they can knit or crochet, well, this could be the start of a cottage industry.
