Moover Pram for 16 month DD

Does anyone have one? Is it suitable from about that age?

DD1 (6) is getting a dolls pram, probably mamas and papas excel and we wanted to get dd3 something to push her dollies around in also but the umbrella strollers for her age just seem so flimsy and crap and the prams are too big.

The moover looks lovely there may be fights! and something a bit different. Has anyone seen it anywhere for under £60? Or any other suggestions for good prams/pushchairs for 16 month olds?

How long has she been walking and how stable is she on her feet? Is she tall?

The Moover pram is lovely, DD3 got one for Christmas last year as she was turning 1. It is very stable and well made. She has got a lot of use from it this year. But now at 23 months she is still using it but the handle is getting low. She will get to 2.5 using it but I can see it lasting that long. She is average height.

Both DD1 and DD2 got a Molly Pram from Smyths from sister in law for their second birthdays. They were still pushing them at 5 years of age. They were fairly stable only tipping on them occasionally.

The stroller type dolls prams are prone to tipping till they are nearer 3 years old.

dD3 also likes pushing round a Baby Botn dolls twin pram. It has 2 wheels at back and 2 at front so it stable. It has a height adjustable handle so she plays with her older sisters.

Thanks Fresh, she's a bit of a shorty (still in 9-12 clothes) so think it will last her a good while. Just dithering at spending £60 on it but nothing else seems as nice!

Is this the red wooden one? DD has this for her first birthday but didn't really use it much until she was 16mths. She continued to use it until she was 3.6ish before complaining that it was too low. She had a mamas and papas one for her 4th birthday and DS (17mths) can manoeuvre that around the house pretty well although looks ridiculous.

I got my daughter one at the same age, she is 3 now and tall and still uses it. It's so lovely. I'm not sure it's one for outdoor use if you were thinking of that though.

DD, who was and still is a titch, had a £5 stroller from 12mths - she loved pushing her dolly in it, inside and out. Then DS also used it. They even used to push each other around in it. We only threw it out when DS was about 8, so we must have had the best part of 10yrs use out of it!

Oooh I'm definitely leaning towards it Smile Yes it's the red wooden one, even if it lasted until she was 2.5-3 it looks so pretty I could use it in her room to hold soft toys.

I was initially going to get her just a stroller but I let her try one in toys r us and because she's not brilliantly steady on her feet it just kept tipping from under her!

I have just seen Zulily has Moover stuff today. They have the plain wooden pram rather than the red one, but it is still lovely. www.zulily.co.uk. You need to register with them.

I bought it on Amazon a couple of years ago for £40-something. Lovely pram.

We gave this pram to DD for her 1st birthday and now, at 3.9 she still does use it,probably more for storing her dollies than pushing them around. It's lovely and is worth the money imho.

Spotted this one on Ebay, if anyone is looking out for one.
