Christmas Stocking Ideas - Please Inspire Me!

I love putting Christmas stockings together each year for my three children (dd1 aged 17, ds1 aged 13 and dd2 aged 10) plus DH, but I feel I'm running out of ideas. I want to include useful things and fun-to-have frivolous things but not stuff that goes straight into the bin. Here are what I include (or have included in the past)

socks
tights
gold chocolate coins
pot of nivea
starbucks £5 gift token
a clementine
bar of chilli choc (for DH)
Claires token
pot of nail polish
packet of emery boards
pack of nerf gun pellets (not for the dds obvs)
packets of tissues

There is other (more fun) stuff that tends to be one-offs (as I see them in a shop), but as you can see I'm getting stuck. Your thoughts pleeeeeease! Let's build a useful list together!

There are some really lovely packs of mini magnetic bookmarks - they do them in whsmiths and on amazon. I bought Mini Cooper ones last year for DSS, I've got DH some sci fi ones this year. They also do cartoon ones like scooby doo and looney tunes

Little Lego sets
Lip balm
Bath bombs
Diary
Top trumps for youngest (May still be too old)
Pair of nice pants
Book/magazine
Torch

Dunno, I'm struggling myself this year. Mine are younger than yours at 9,8 and 2, just wrapped up what they've got so far. Lego have lots of gifty stuff at the moment which features a lot for my older 2!

Wreck this journal is really good.
I've bought mine some rose string lights to wrap around the bed frame.
Nice pjs.
Books.

Ohhh bought ds some touchscreen gloves so he has warm hands and can still be attached to his phone. Grin

I've just got in the post some memo pads I got mine for 99p from Hong Kong but they took about a month. These are in uk.

Just got in from work and thank you for all these lovely ideas.
Going to get some boxers for DH as his are rather disgusting grey and sad. And like those touchscreen gloves JustMeh. Teenage boys so difficult. Everything is just rubbish or very expensive. Also going to get a Bella or a Chat mag for DH1, another idea from Hallow. And lottery tickets for DD1 and DH. Smile

I bought my DS some little gel handwarmers from JLewis - were less than 10.00

Other thoughts ... Hair clips, nail polish, tie, fleece gloves, little sweets in tins, mini aftershave, little comb, doodle book from Book People, funny post it notes, little magnetic book clips,

My mam used to put mini bottles of toiletries, like tres-semme heat-protection spray, in mine. Sometimes a tin of Vaseline or a little mirror for my purse.

Only good at girly ideas I'm afraid - how about nail polish remover pads, little notebook, earrings, face pack sachet, lovely owl necklace less than £1.00 from Amazon on the Christmas bargain thread, a Christmas decoration if they have their own tree in their room, (Accessorize have got some nice ones) and don't forget a satsuma and a pound coin in the toe!

DisneyAddict88 · 25/11/2013 22:22

booklight - got a great one in £1 shop
little toiletries - maybe posh mascara/makeup for dds

bath bombs from lush

nice hair bits/ jewellery

lego minifigures

pretty phone cover/ tablet case if they have one

stationary/ note books/ new diary (I love the paperchase ones)

favourite sweets or different ones from cybercandy or something
