She's in her 40's, fashionable, senior role. What on earth can I get her for £5?!!

Can anyone help me find some inspiration?

Oh I'm in the same boat too. Except she's early 30s has allergies so no bath stuff or cosmetics and I heard her say she hopes she doesn't get wine or chocolates! She's into psychology but I know nothing about it!

A candle sounds nice. I was thinking of homemade cookies or brownies but thought she might then feel obligated to share so not a great gift.

Waggamamma · 24/11/2013 17:39

£5 Starbucks voucher, or other naice coffee place near your work.

leesmum · 24/11/2013 18:39

Slipper socks, nail varnish, wine, nice pen?

Eastpoint · 24/11/2013 18:43

If she's 40s fashionable & in a senior role don't buy her a candle which costs under £5. A gift voucher for a coffee shop seems a much better idea to me, she'll use it herself.

MrsDoomsPatterson · 25/11/2013 07:39

It's secret Santa. I'm not overthinking this, EastPoint!

lilolilmanchester · 25/11/2013 07:48

What about a poinsettia or other Christmassy plant?

FestiveEdition · 25/11/2013 07:52

Nice moisturiser (lots of half price deals on these at the moment at Tesco)
....just don't get one designed to reduce signs of aging!!!!!

Nice mug is a brilliant idea.

The spicery are selling secret Santa packs for £5. I would love to receive one of these! www.thespicery.com

Pogosticks · 25/11/2013 08:27

Spend £5 in a charity shop - you'll get a scarf or belt (or both) which is, ta da!, automatically VINTAGE - perfect for fashionable person. And if she doesn't like it at least the charity have benefited rather than a coffee shop or candle shop.

If she is senior she probably gets her coffee on expenses anyway ;)

I've got a basket of bulbs from aldi for DH secret Santa. It'll be lovely ina few weeks and last nicely but not be the sort of thing that makes clutter long term ( and TBH if she wants to re gift it to her gran or what ever that doesn't bother me in the slightest!)

Hessy · 25/11/2013 08:43

Some naice stationary? Moleskin notebook etc?
