I only buy for one now, other than a Secret santa and something like homemade cakes for a couple of others. I deffo wouldn't buy 'proper' presents for anywhere near 11.

I like my work colleagues so I may take in a tub of celebrations - tesco has them on offer for £5. That way, they all get a treat.

cakes is a good idea! 3 of them will buy for me though

I'll be lucky to get a card from my colleagues.
Work with men, it's much easier Grin
I like the food as gifts idea, biscuits also good.

FunkyBoldRibena · 24/11/2013 16:52

I thought the secret santa was to avoid having to buy everyone a present.

breatheslowly · 24/11/2013 17:06

I think buying for colleagues is a bit crazy (generous thought though). Why not all agree to contribute to charity. Something uncontroversial like one of the Philippians appeals.

raisah · 24/11/2013 17:10

Tin of chocs should do it. I only buy for 3 but we've known each other for 8 years ands I class them as friends.

Moreisnnogedag · 24/11/2013 17:11

Buy for team. Everyone ends giving and receiving wine!

TallulahBetty · 24/11/2013 17:11

Surely the Secret Santa takes care of this? Everyone only has to buy for one person? Confused

LoveandLife · 24/11/2013 17:28

Maybe if you had one very close colleague or lead a very small team you would get something for each of your staff, but 11 colleagues? Never!

A couple of nice tins of biscuits for everyone to share in the run up if you must but please don't start a present precedent Shock

I buy something for each of my staff, but only beer/wine/chocs - really just a token to recognise their hard work through the year.
