We have agreed to buy for our DC and set a £5 limit for each other. I don't really want to waste £5 on a silly novelty present but what can I get him for £5?

Does he drink? Sainsbo's have a mini JD and glass on offer at a fiver. Otherwise, a cheese and some 'posh' crackers.

Five lottery tickets?

BitchinInTheKitchen · 23/11/2013 23:43

I like the lottery ticket idea, maybe scratch cards?

I'll check out Sainburys for the JD set, he'd love the cheese idea but it couldn't be something that needs to be refrigerated.

a dvd?

The impossible is an excellent movie and is a fiver

BitchinInTheKitchen · 24/11/2013 00:27

He's no cook sadly Grin Those are some bargains though, might get one or two of them for some friends.

Why don't you make him up a CD of favourite songs? or
Maybe make him some boozy fudge?
