Apologies if we had this thread.

Budget is up to £80 and he's not into sport or Slebs either.
Any suggestions?? Mega Thx IA.

How old is he?
My 15yo would love asos voucher - he could then buy shoes/ clothes/ accessories.
He also likes expensive aftershave.
Jumper/ hoodie/ t-shirts of favourite brand.
Pair of tickets to a favourite band.
Cinema vouchers if he's a film fan.
The difficulty with teens is knowing what brands / style they are into - one teens cool is another teens naff.

Sorry! Just 14, not ready to go to gigs yet
Although he's been trying to get a girl out on a date for ages, so I suppose I could slyly facilitate with cinema tix.

Had to google what is ASOS. Not into clothes. Still at the "spray the room with deodorant" phase, not shaving yet.

Those seem like great ideas just not for DS.

ARGGGHHHH...

Lego architecture or technic?

ArbitraryUsername · 23/11/2013 22:26

Manga? You could get a death note box set.

Robot arm? Everyone needs one!

exexpat · 23/11/2013 22:28

Is he into music at all? You can get a decent electronic keyboard for around £80, I think; a basic electric guitar plus amp starts at around £90.

Otherwise, some kind of experience thing might be good - gig tickets (DS is 15 and has been going to gigs for a couple of years - but we're in a city with a good music scene), cinema, theatre, Go Ape, one of those under 17s driving experiences etc - obviously depends on his interests.

Anything for his room? One of those gaming beanbags or something?

Still great ideas, still not sure about any of them for DS, but will ponder & PLEASE DO KEEP THEM COMING.

I don't know about the teenager, but I might get that robot arm for DH to share with younger DSs!
