Due to the recent birth of DD (now 7 weeks old) I am behind on my thinking about Christmas. What on earth should I get them?

What does ds like?

Baby won't need much, clothes rattles books maybe something she will use over next few months jumperoo walker etc

I wouldnt go beserk - clothes etc for the baby and a couple of nice toys for the 2 year old. Does he have a dolly and pram/sling? might be nice so he can look after his own baby :)

Aaaah - hats off to you that you are even thinking about Christmas with a newborn ( my DS was born before the Millenium and we were so knackered I cannot even remember that Christmas Day. But he was only 18 days old Wink )

My DS was 3yo and DD 6 months on her first Christmas.
We bought her presents (of course) but she wasn't bothered. She watched her brother open his.

For the DD - clothes, a blanket? Something she'll need but a bit more special.

My DS got a huge Fire Engine and Firemans helmet (but your DS is younger than alot of the 3+ toys)

What about those chunky pens that are water activated? I can;t remember the name but the pens has water in it (so no worry about mess) and they 'paint' on a special paper type picture to colour in? Then it dries and you repeat.

(Not like those pictures when I was a child that you painted with water. There were tiny tiny dots of dried paint on them that activated. 'Twas magic or something Wink )

And a foil wrapped pack of sandwiches from "Action Man" for breakfast for DS before he got all hyper excited

(Oh the fibs we told them Blush )

That is a good idea - I might get him some art stuff. Also someone mentioned a cash register.

I got my 9 week old DT and activity play mat and one of those activity cubes.
For your DS the ELC garage is great fun or a big box of Duplo
