Christmas tree overhall!!

We currently have a silver/blue 'theme' which I no longer like! I really would like a tree where each year the children choose a decoration each and the tree 'organically' grows and becomes something more meaningful. (Note to self: stay away from the Christmas thread!) How do I start?? Not sure 4 baubles will work this year! Smile.

We bought a box set of baubles initially (traditional colours such as red, green and gold etc) and then added individual items to it. For the first few years we bought quite a few individual pieces but then now I just get about 4 new ones a year. I think most people gradually replace what they already have with individual items rather than starting from scratch :)

You could get these clear plastic baubles for the children to decorate & then fill with treats. They will then be personal to them & they could take them away once they leave home to begin their own traditions.
