talk to me about the wii u

ds1 has some money that hes been saving for a wii u. today i found out iv won £150 argos vouchers from a compertition iv done on mumsnet last month i think it was.

iv been admiring the wii u and it does look good but i dont know THAT much about it. im very very tempted to put the vouchers towards a wii u. for a family christmas gift but im still arring.. as you dont get any numchuck or controll with it other than the tablet, its still going to cost a fair bit isnt it?

it has to be from argos, as thats the vouchers.

is it worth it? what are you veiws on it and has any one actually got one?

i belive you can play two different games on it..so one on the wii and another on the tablet is this correct and is any good?

not really keen on fifa its only really the mario games... but i didn not know about it being withdrawn :/ though the games for the ds can still be played on the newer ds cant they?

i agree im an xbox gal to, we have the 360 so dont really need the new one.

may have to rethink what i spend my vouchers on i think.

we have one, love it, the boys love the games
we have played with it alot. and I can't see that ending anytime soon.

right iv googled it.. it say the basic model is being removed from some shops, esp over seas..but nitendo have stated they havnt discontinued it.

you can still get the wii u games at asda but only online.

im going to have a play in game and see what i t feels like, most wii games will be compatable.

i shall do some more research, thank you and more opiones most welcome :)

one of our favorite games on it is hide and seek on nintendo land.. tis loads of fun.
Perhaps the games are for the slightly younger audience than some of the Xbox games but I have guessed at that so not sure.
