Carols for piano

Hi - I'm sort of learning piano - well, playing through my children's piano books as they are. I can already read music which helps.

I'm looking for some easy piano arrangements of Christmas carols so I can fulfil my dream of people singing round the piano one day. Maybe not this Christmas, depends how much I practice I guess!

Anyway, I'm looking for a book that has two handed easy arrangements - not just the melody picked out but some chords as well - but not too hard! I've had a look on Amazon but couldn't quite get a feel for whether they were pitched at the right level. I guess I'm about the equivalent of grade 1, maybe? Anyone have a recommendation?

Chester's are quite good but might be a bit too basic

this is the one I have and I love it, I'd say it might be a bit above grade one - would you be confident simplifying yourself (eg skipping unnecessary notes in the left hand)?

You should be able to get a good range of sheet music at the library - might be worth borrowing a few and seeing what seems right for you before buying. I'm always a bit nervous buying sheet music online as you can't look through it.

You're welcome! We have loads of sheet music at our (huge) library but it's possible that smaller libraries don't stock any - so you might need to search the catalogue and request it in.

Technically it's illegal to photocopy though :o
