The only thing DS says he wants is xbox games! He gets plenty of money from other family members so I prefer that he use that to buy xbox games as he wants special editions etc that constantly change so I am sure to get it wrong!

I will get him PJ's, books, dvd but am looking for some inspiring ideas I can steal from others whose boys have a more varied Christmas wish list than mine!

enderwoman · 17/11/2013 09:30

I've seen lots of little things that my 12 year old would like at my local gadget shops. (In my case Red5 and Menkind but Online ones like IWOOT and Firebox should have cool bits)

Chocrock · 17/11/2013 09:38

thank you! I am going to check out the websites, drivers lesson and of course I forgot about Lynx....

I'm really struggling for my ds13
All he wants is xbox games. Arghhhh

I have no idea what else to get him.

I did by some jack jones shoes and tops but he has grown so much recently I ended up giving them to him. Ditto pyjamas.

Chocrock · 18/11/2013 14:13

Is it normal for boys of this age to be so into xbox? Oh dear I fear it isn't Grin

Ds 14 has just asked for clothes&/or money nothing more :(

I will be getting him gift vouchers for the various shops he likes instead-Top man, River island, Foot asylum...
A new iphone case,
An autobiography of his fave footballer,
Concert tickets (professor Green)
Bear Grylls book,
An iphone camera gadget that has different lenses/effects(he is a budding photographer)
And last but not least a Chocolate pizza Grin

wordfactory · 18/11/2013 14:36

DS 14 has asked for a PS4 together with FIFA 14 and some other game.

I've left that to DH to sort out and have started to buy him some other bits;

Ski jacket and gloves.
Shin pads.
Skins.
A biscuit tin that oinks whenever you take the lid off.

HenriettaPie · 18/11/2013 14:36

Very.co.uk have a chocolate xbox controller! Smile

angelinterceptor · 18/11/2013 14:37

My DS is just turned 14, he wanted stuff for his bicycles - parts, new shoes etc and a GoPro camera (they are £££)
Everyone else got him money, and it will be the same for chrismas - no-one even buys my DD (10 ) presents anymore - its always money.

For Christmas he would like a laptop - and he really needs one for the GoPro and for homeworks etc - at the moment he has to borrow mine.

He is into cycling, playstation his phone and lego

worm77daisy · 18/11/2013 14:39

What clothing brands are boys this age into? I was thinking of getting a 14 year old a duffs hoody from mandm direct but have no idea if this would be incredibly cringed or not?

MikeLitoris · 18/11/2013 14:40

Ds (almost 13 ) is having a ps4 and one game. He can save for more as he wants them.

Hollister hoodie and aftershave :(
Onsie
New football boots
Clothes (mostly h&m stuff)
Pjs
Books (hunger games)
Might get him some dvds.

MikeLitoris · 18/11/2013 14:41

worm my ds likes h&m, topman and his fave is Hollister. Never hearf of duffs so cant comment on that sorry.

wordfactory · 18/11/2013 14:45

DS likes Superdry.

worm77daisy · 18/11/2013 14:47

rightio thanks guys now to try and find a suitable Hoody for £20 or less!

lljkk · 18/11/2013 14:47

Mine wants a mini-fridge, too.
I can't bear that, he'd stock it up with pasties & never emerge if he did have one!

Bowlersarm · 18/11/2013 14:47

Worm - DS aged 13 likes hollister, jack wills, SuperDry (trousers/jeans can be from anywhere though). DS aged 15 not interested in clothes-would be a total waste of a present as far as he's concerned. DS aged 17 loves Top Man, River Island.

Thanks for the thread OP, I'm getting some ideas for my three DSes from it.

ihatethecold · 18/11/2013 14:49

Round here I've noticed quite a few lads including mine like jack jones.

Mandmdirect have some good offers

Saltire · 18/11/2013 14:54

DS2 is nearly 14. His list of what he'd like is huge. What he's getting is a different matter Grin.

Hudl
X-box game
2/3 dvds
Hobbit Lego set (he collects them and builds them up then displays them)
erma nd possibly one or 2 other things

ArbitraryUsername · 18/11/2013 15:00

DS1 is 13. He wants videogames for various consoles, books and a Lego set. He tries to display them but they keep getting broken by an over-curious DS2.

ihatethecold · 19/11/2013 14:03

I am thinking of getting a fridge, 4lovelychildren where are you getting your mini fridge from?
