This year i am doing Christmas Eve Boxes or bags - not decided which yet. If i can get some decent cheap christmas boxes then ill do them, if not. Gift bags will do.

In them will go:
Pjs
Chocolate Coins
Christmas Sticker Book
Candy Cane
DVD

Are any of you doing these?

We just put each DC's on the fireplace in a pile. Ours are left by the elf on the shelf, we return from a walk to find he's left a note and a small pile of gifts for each of them. They get-

PJs
Slippers
Chocolate coins
Marshmallows
Soft toy

Ours also gets left after a walk. It has pyjamas, stockings to hang up, bath bomb/bubble bath, blank thank you cards, cocoa, marshmallows, letter from the elf. If there isn't anything good on TV I will add a dvd but the is usually The Snowman or a Julia Donaldson animation on so I haven't actually included one yet. There might be some sort of alcoholic drink for the grown ups.

Chocolate coins

We do a box every year, we wrap it up and either me or dh will put it on the doorstep an ring the bell. The dd's get so excited it also has a little letter from the elves.
Inside is
Hot chocolate & marshmallows
Pyjamas
Slippers
Christmas Dvd
& Popcorn
??????

I am doing a hamper this year for all of us (my DP's are staying, then there's DH, DS(9) and me)
So far I have decided on:
PJ's (have conscripted DM to supply their own!)
Big box of chocs
Hot chocolate and marshmallows for DS
Alcohol for the adults, probably Baileys
Yankee candle
Gingerbread house kit so we can all chip in over the course of the afternoon
Net of chestnuts for the fire

As a CEH virgin I am unduly excited :o

I am! I have no idea what to put in though so watching for inspiration Grin I'm thinking pjs as they would get these in stocking anyway, DVD, hot choc and marshmallows, baking kit, thank you cards, nice smelling candle both stolen from this thread and any more ideas you throw out there Grin

Ours get an 'Elf Bag' left on the door step when they're in the bath. It means they've made the nice list and the big man is on his way!
They get new Pj's, a stocking and a festive DVD to watch before bed.
I love Christmas eve! Smile

DD has an Xmas eve present under the tree - PJs and one or two other bits. PJs are on their way, hot choc and marshmallows are a good idea, Harry Potter quiz book will probably go in there too. Any recommendations for an Xmas eve DVD? DD is 9, and I'd like it to be something that doesn't make me want to gouge my own eyes out.
