We already have the Snowman, Father Christmas, Happy Feet and Mickeys Once Upon a Christmas......

Can anyone recommend a really great Xmas Eve DVD for us all to watch in our Xmas PJs? Smile

Mickey's Twice upon a Christmas and definetly Polar Adventure,

Not strictly Christmassy but we've gone with room on the broom this year. Or there's the gruffalo's child as that is set in winter?

fuzzpig · 12/11/2013 07:45

(The benefit of the above is that they are quite short - we never do screens after bath but will be on Xmas eve so they can wear new jammies etc)

My girls get forced to watch the box if delights, which is quite awful really, especially when looked at through modern eyes (bad acting, unconvincing effects etc...)

But they prefer watching muppets Christmas carol.

You can't beat barbie a perfect christmas. My dds love it! Nativity good if she's in school already. Mine hate the polar express. Elf fab too.

FixItUpChappie · 12/11/2013 16:49

I think the original Grinch Who Stole Christmas would be good for that age and of course any age Grin

I also have a DVD collection which includes the stop-motion animation versions of Rudolph, Frosty the Snowman and Santa Clause is Coming to Town....all perfect for that age of child....were those popular in the UK?

Another vote for Polar Express and Arthur Christmas.

Doitnicelyplease · 12/11/2013 17:59

Polar Express and Authur Christmas are both great. Also my DD (5) loves Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer (the old stop-motion one), The Winnie The Pooh Christmas one (A Merry New Year?).
