As the title says.

I'm fed up of spending a small fortune on crackers only to have crappy gifts and 'jokes' inside.

So instead, this year I have got a pack of make your own. Now I just need ot find soem decent stuff to go inside them! Any ideas?

We will be:

Me (need a fabulous gift, natch Grin Wink)
Dh
My uncle
dd1, age 9
dd2, age 6, and
ds, age 1 (doesn't really need one, but makes a nice even number).

Anyone seen some good quality little items which would fit in crackers?

I'm doing the same and after some early enthusiasm it is now getting tricky...

Nephew 11 keyring
Dp egg timer for boiled eggs
Dbil keyring attachment that holds an emergency £20
Df probably some figurines for his trains...

Struggling with niece, younger nephew, fil, sil...

Ive got a Yankees candle sampler for one. Earrings for another and a tiny torch. Oh and everyone gets a scratch card.

Oh, now I like the scratchcard/lottery ticket idea.

And a decent keyring torch would eb useful. Maybe a whiskey/gin miniature for the grownups.

dd2 I can get all manner of Disney princess shite stuff.

dd1 is a little trickier - she has ASD, so not at all sure what to get her which woudl be suitable and fit in a cracker...

One year, I got some key ring blanks from Yellow Moon and got my children to draw in each - alternatively insert a photo. It's cute and cheap!

Another time we have had lottery cards and the boys a lego minifigure in a bag.

I am doing this. I got ds aged 5 a Moshe monster packet, but you could do lego, play mobile etc. I got ds aged 9 and ds aged 11 Mario ds styluses. For dh and f-I-l I got little mini bottles of port. I would like chocolate in mine. Not sure yet about M-I-l.

I'm going schleich animals for my dds (2.7 and 11 months), a fire steel for dp and naalbinding needles for myself.

For mine I got some tissues in a little pack that are printed like a £20 note. They were 30p in home bargains. They also had nice little compact mirrors in a vintage design for £1.
