Hey mnetters!

I'm aLready starting to think about where to take dd to see Father Christmas this year - any ideas? Last year we went to Nottcuts which was great, but was just wondering if any of you had any better suggestions.

Smile Thanks Grin

How old is your DC?
It's just outside Birmingham but Chasewater Railway does a lovely Santa Special - trip on the train & Santa visit.

I can't wait til we have an excuse to go!

Santa special

She's 3 Princess. Ooh that sounds like it might be worth checking out! I know lots of parents who end up paying out for something that no-one actually enjoys (I've been told Beckett's Farm shove everyone through like a conveyor belt...?), so want to make sure I get a good recommendation before paying out. Not at all tight honestly...

Just posted a similar request!

Black Country Museum is fantastic. You have to search for Santa and it's truly magical, the staff all really get into character and entertain the adults as much as the children.

If you're looking for something simpler and less expensive Webbs of Wychbold is nice and House of Fraser.

Thanks sparkle - I didn't even think of The Black Country Museum! Will be nice to make a Christmassy day of it with dd and her friends, so I'll definitely look into that option!

Ash End Farm used to be lovely. Havnt been for years though.

Nature centre is good too. But make sure you book early.

Ooh, just started a thread on this over on Local:

I've heard great things about the steam railway too - great for Polar Express fans...
