My dd (5) is desperate for one of these Flying Fairy, just wondering if any of you have bought one for your kids and if so, is it any good? I think it looks crap, but I'm willing to buy it if people think it's worth it.

TIA

Oh my DD1 (5) is desperate for one too. They are really expensive, IMO.

I think they have to be regularly charged up, which i don't think is great for a young child's toy. And then she probably wouldn't be able to play with it unsupervised, either because she needs help to operate or charge it, or because the damn thing is flying about knocking cups of tea over or something.

Anyway I read all the reviews on Amazon and concluded it was a massive waste of money. One review said they had a tendency to get tangled in hair, which was the final nail in the coffin as far as I'm concerned!

They are aimed at 8 years plus. I was going to buy one for my 3 year old but when it came through the till it said suitable for 8 years old, so I put it back. The lady on the check out said they were so popular.

Hmm will try and get out of that one then. Thank you!
