sending presents to Australia

So my brother, his wife and four children live in Australia, we are in the UK.
Does anyone have any tips for present sending. Last year I bought it all (most of it online) here and sent it which cost nearly £50 in postage. I have looked into buying through Amazon but you seem to have to pay each items postage separately rather than being able to put it all in one parcel.
Does anyone know of any good australian sites that I could buy presents through angd get them gift wrapped etc but would be able to pay in sterling??
Sorry I sound a bit clueless but an sure there must be an easier and cheaper way than last years!!

Marks and Spencers are doing free delivery to Australia for a limited time here

After years and years --and years-- of being in this situation the cheapest way to go is buy a gift voucher for a day out or an experience or magazine subscription... most things you will end up paying extortionate postage. Do they have a zoo or theme park close by?

UNLESS you have an accomplice in OZ who will receive the gifts internally and wrap them for you. The Book Depository do free INTL delivery. M&S, Tesco and JL often do free INTL delivery or free if you spend £100

Hi I have ordered through toys r us
Website this year (oz one obviously) to be delivered to their house. Vice versa my sister ordered from amazon UK and got them delivered to houses here. Saves on postage as it is so expensive now! X

Fishpond deliver for free internationally -they sell books. They do have an australian website when i searched on my laptop, with prices in dollars, but when i came to order on my ipad i was annoyingly redirected to the uk site.
