Playmobil is always good as you get all the little accessories and they have loads of play value. I don't have the school bus, but have loads of other sets. My kids have the VTech bus, which has the music and phonic sounds on it. It is one of those toys that has loads of play value as its great just as a push along or as a preschool learning toy.

Dd has the old version, I got it from German ebay about 5 yrs ago, I can categorically say it is one of the most played with Playmobil things she has, (and we have a lot)

We also have an older version, I would say it is probably played with every day, by my 5 and 2 year olds.

It didn't come with many small bits, which to my mind is a bonus! And you can put a playmobil remote control unit in it too (we haven't done this, as I think it would be almost too exciting Grin)

The door and the wing mirrors have a tendency to become detached, that is my only quibble with it.

Yes - my son absolutely adores it :)

I have bought this for DS for Christmas. It looks robust and adaptable too, not just a school bus. It could also be a holiday transfer coach! I got it on amazon. Easy to put together, and hardly any bits to lose.

Another thumbs up for the bus. We also have an older version this one which is very well played with. We don't have a school but it et used with most of the other sets (airport, horses, houses) to transport our little army of Playmobil people to various events and destinations. It's even been ransacked by our pirate ship!

Although it's a big toy, it's a very easy shape to store (I'm looking at you, pirate ship Hmm) and the only negative I could think of is that the wing mirrors fall off at lot. The pop back on easily and Playmobil have an excellent replacement parts service if you ever need to replace lost ones.
