twig blocks: slow toy awards

The slow toy awards 2013 were in the paper today

I must be a slowtoymovement sort of person as we have quite a few of them already - oobichoo doll, story cubes, wondercube multisolution puzzle.

I really like the look of the twig blocks and wanted to get them for my little people for christmas but couldn't find them anywhere. In case anyone else is looking, having contacted the company - you can get them at the happy puzzle company and a 20% off code is googleable.

Also looked them up on amazon and a product came up (on the 'similar items' bit) - called "hexActly" - looks nice too. I love stuff like that.

Also seriously lusting after something called "pattern play" (another wooden thing)

They are all £££ though...

they are - but with the 20% off, they were £30 which isn't horrendous for 72 blocks

That price is much better tis true :o

Love the slow toy idea too. We are not buying any gadgets/battery toys this year.
