Is a kiddizoom camera suitable for a 3 year old?

Dd turns 3 in Feb. She loves looking through photos on phones & cameras.

Rather stupidly I bought baby ds a toy camera for christmas and I've realised i need to get her something similar.

I've seen the kiddizoom reduced to £40 in Smyths but wondered if it was going to be too complicated. Any ideas or alternative suggestions would be hugely appreciated! Smile

it will be fine for a 3 year old. my girls have kiddizoom twist cameras, they are 8 and 7 and still love playing with them now. they like making videos of themselves making silly noises and faces and then watching them back.

Our 3 year old loved his and he still loves it now he's 5. £26.66 on amazon which is about as cheap as its ever been.

Not too complicated. They can use it on different levels.

Not, not too complex - it will be fine! DD had one from 4. Only thing I thought was the quality of the photos - if you print them out - is crap.

We got one for DS's 3rd Birthday and he loves it. Would recommend getting a memory card for it - he'd taken all the available pictures within the first day (most of them of things like the carpet/walls etc!!)

I think we paid about £5 for an 8gb card.

We haven't printed any off yet, but you can't expect fantastic high quality pictures at 2 megapixel. But they're his photos and he loves getting people to say cheese for him Grin

Thanks, that's really helpful. I'll have a look at Amazon as that's a great price too. Smile

I hadn't even thought of a memory card, great idea.

Bought one for my DS who will be almost 3 at Christmas, so I hope so! Product info says it's 3yrs+. I bought mine for £17.50 from Ocado at the beginning of October. They were selling them half price, so keep an eye out in case they do it again.
