Leap pad- any good? Nearly 3 too young?

DS will be three not long after Christmas. We've been considering the leapfrog leap pad either for Christmas or birthday.

Are they any good and what age have you used them with?

she could prob do some stuff on it.. like the colouring/drawing bit. taking pictures.. but i would expect to get the full amount out of it at just turned 3 but it is somethign you can add to as he grows.

you can get 15 pound voucher from amazon for £10 at the moment, so you can download the games instead of having cartidages..which mine tend to lose. saves a bit of money to i brought two so basically got£30 and only spent £20 which is the normal price for the games.(like dinsy ones etcx)
