The elf shelf video, what its about?!

Am almost....tempted by elf on shelf....

people keep mentioning a film or something, is this a story or a messgage from north pole HQ?

It's the story behind how the Elf happens to arrive at your house and why he's there. Shows an elf going to the house of a family, how he goes back to the North Pole at night to report to FC and what happens if you touch him.

It's a short film, about 25 mins which is great for kids with their short attention spans. I really enjoyed it actually.

We have one from www.theelfcompany.com. They have an FAQ section on their site that should answer all your questions. It comes with a little rhyme to explain the tradition, a letter from Father Christmas to thank you for looking after his elf and a rucksack so your child can carry the elf around with him. It's really cute! There's a little bell on his hat that fascinates my daughter and a secret bit of Velcro on his arm makes him easy to create elf mischief with! It's a lot friendlier looking than the elf on the shelf which is actually a bit scary! x
