I am looking to get my mum a cheap tablet for Christmas. Ideally something she can use for the Internet, maybe love film etc but that's about it! I hear people saying they have ought them for £50-£75 but don't want to buy something that is too slow etc. Can anyone recommend. something they have? Thanks.

My mum's just bought a hudl from Tesco, which she likes. If you have Clubcard points you can pay using those.

That's what inspired me to look to be honest but my tesco points automatically convert to Avios points so I've only got £10 worth of vouchers and can't really afford £100!

I have a fineslate ice cream tablet (seriously that's what you need to search amazon for) for about £60 last year. It was recommended on here. It's awesome.

it's quite slow to turn on but after that it's fine. no way would I bother paying out for a more expensive one.

I did add a large micro sd card. but that's so I could load a few kids films on itGrin

I think mine is an older version of this
