This year, I'll be making from scratch (and possibly with a bit of help with cardboard and superglue to help keep it together like last year...) a gingerbread house complete with snow dusted Ferrari, trees and snowman...Christmas Biscuits and cinnamon sticks/dried orange decoration...what lovely things will you be crafting this Christmas? Tips and instructions please!

Anyone making a wreath? Is it easy to do?

I will be making a gingerbread house, cinnamon and applesauce decorations, gingerbread tree decorations and tree bunting. Possibly also full sized bunting.

I'm planning to finally get around to making stained glass biscuits this year. Make normal biscuit dough but cut holes out of the middle of each biscuit (I've got stars/hearts in a range of sizes) and put a boiled sweet in each hole. Should melt and set in the oven to make a coloured window

I've made lots of wreaths and it's very easy. Get yourself a florists green wreath shape and soak it in water overnight. Forage plenty of greenery and cut it into short lengths. Then go round the sides first, pushing the greenery into the wreath, all facing in the same direction. Carry on until the while thing is covered. You can then add candles if it's to be an advent one, or string to hang if it's for the for. Finally go to town on the deco, baubles, stars, cut flowers, berries, slices of orange dipped in wax, cinnamon sticks all look gorgeous.

I have made wreaths in the past and if I can make one then it's no huge deal
Our local florist now stocks the copper rings, wire, moss and assorted gubbins to pimp it up with, all on their own little shelf when you walk in.
This year I am aiming for one decorated with pheasant feathers and empty shotgun cartridges damn you Pinterest And if it looks a bit lopsided I lie it down and make it a candle thing
