I’m desperately trying to find a cheapy voice recording pen for a spy kit for my DS. I remember getting one in a secret santa a few years ago – it was a basic pen but when you pressed a button at the top – it recorded sound. If you pressed another button it played it back.

I have searched and searched but I can’t find any – I have found loads of digital recording pens – but I want a super easy one with instant playback/no computer required as DS is only 5.

Has anyone come across one? I’ve even been up in the loft searching for mine!

Someone must still make them!

here?

No, that one you need to link up to a PC. I want a really super basic one that plays back through the pen

Any other suggestions?

Can't find any pens but have found this :

Magnetic voice recorder

Oh heavens I had one of these I used to record Dh snoring and play it back. It came from a catalogue that sells loads of useless tat that you think you need but you don't like a cat string dispenser and suchlike. Mind you it was about 6/7 years ago.

The magnetic one is an option....

That's exactly the type of place I imagine would stock them Rosa!

So annoyed that I used to have one!

this says it has a speaker so perhaps can be used without a PC?

This has a recording and 'warping' function. Great if Great Aunt Mildred is visiting for Christmas this year!

Yada Yada yada

Oooh a couple of options. What on earth happened to those pens though?! I thought they would be everywhere :-(
