I opened a tin last night! There is a "coffee escape" in a green wrapper - I assume this is a cream but will not try it even for a fellow mumsnetter as coffee creams are Envy (this is a sickly face, not an envious one!)

VivaLeBeaver · 05/11/2013 07:49

Yes, there was a thread on here last week about it saying that what you'd expect to be something else due to the wrapper is now coffee!

Madamecastafiore · 05/11/2013 07:49

I bloody hope so.

Please forward any unwanted ones to Castafiore Towers as I am no longer the only one who eats them. Bloody DS has decided he likes coffee creams too.

Am more than willing to send in the orange and strawberry creams to anyone in need of them.

CelticPromise · 05/11/2013 07:52

This is happy news on a Tuesday morning! I LOVE coffee creams.

RevengeWiggle · 05/11/2013 07:54

This is the best news I've had all week. Does this mean the old green wrappered ones are gone? They were terrible.

RhondaJean · 05/11/2013 07:58

HOORAY

wonderingsoul · 05/11/2013 08:27

ohh YAY i may actuaqlly buy some this year.. they went down big style when they took near enough all the soft ones out..

coffee, strawberry, organge and maybe the green one ar emy favourites

thinking i may open up a little online sweet shop where i would sell single sweets,, such as qualty street, roses etc and you can make up your own box.. with JUST the ones you like. Grin

TheOnlyPink · 05/11/2013 08:39

They aren't coffee creams, they are a coffee truffle. So, so yum. and now all gone from my tin

MaccaPaccaismyNemesis · 05/11/2013 08:45

I might have got one by surprise when testing the chocolates for quality. The horror Shock

wonderingsoul · 05/11/2013 09:18

oh... thats not the same,.....

i want me coffee cream

TheOnlyPink · 05/11/2013 12:24

wondering if you liked the coffee creams i don't think you will be disappointed. Texture is different but still the same flavour iykwim. Like instead of adding the coffee flavour to the cream mix they put it in a truffle. I think they taste a bit more luxurious.

HavingAnOffDAy · 05/11/2013 12:31

wondering the Cadbury outlet near my old workplace had pick n mix roses - so you could just buy the ones you like. It was fab. I could indulge my passion of strawberry creams without being frowned upon Grin

Darkesteyes · 05/11/2013 17:37

Ooh thanks ladies. Dhs face has just lit up.

IslaValargeone · 05/11/2013 17:39

Thanks the Gods there is no Cadbury outlet near me

wonderingsoul · 05/11/2013 19:46

Ohhhh I need to fibd an outlet. I can remeber woolworths and picking out tge creams from the pic n mix.

Only... im not sure.. im sure id like them. But I like the cream texture. But I shall give them a go lol.

TheOnlyPink · 05/11/2013 19:50

I hear ya wondering. The creams are delish!

TheDietStartsTomorrow · 05/11/2013 19:55

Yes, the coffee ones in green wrapper were a much welcomed surprise. I wasn't going I have any chocs at all but then someone bit into one and 'ooh coffee!' And so my ears twitched up and I ran towards the tub at full speed, arm in front of me, knocking everyone out of the way as I went. I snatched the tub and scooped all the green ones out (and a few more for good measure) crying 'Mine! Mine!'.

Then I went back to what I was doing. Content.

LaurieFairyCake · 05/11/2013 19:57

Can you tell me if the blue cracknell one is back too? Think that was Quality Street though.

Darkesteyes · 05/11/2013 23:05
