Where is the best place to get good quality personalised Christmas cards from that I can upload a photo of my children onto from my ipad?

Many thanks in advance

Last year I bought a pack of cards with slots in and printed pics out to put in.

Pack of cards was £2 for ten and pics cost very little print

dont bother. Im always bemused when i get cards with pics of peoples kids on them. Even relatives.

fedupwithdeployment · 04/11/2013 14:34

I put a small photo into cards. Some people might think I am nuts or be uninterested, but I do get some appreciative comments. Not everyone is on fb, and there are very few pics if my kids on fb anyway. I would not print cards though. It is a bit cherie Blair or prince Charles.

I agree with Branleuse Grin , cant think of anything worse, dd2 had a card from a friend one year with a photo of the child on her horse Hmm.

I like them for family. Lots of aging Aunts and the like not on facebook (neither are my kids photos). As PP said I brought slotted cards and just got lots of photos developed.

I used photobox as they had a fantastic deal on so each a5 card worked out as 51p. Didn't out a photo of ds or the family though, they're not my thing, but like round robins! Instead took a nice photo of the beach where we live with 'Merry Christmas' written in the sand. The company is good though, and there are designs where you can incorporate your photo into a pre-designed card, or just have a photocard printed. I'd keep an eye out for offers though as they do discounts all the time. Vistaprint is another one but the postage takes a long time unless you pay through the roof for the special service.

*not my thing! BIT like round robins.

I don't like round robins!

Optimal print is good for these. They've got 50% offer on at the mo I think Grin

I like them... I did one of my DD looking out of the window at snow, I photoshopped it so she was just a tiny part of the scene and you had to look for her... Another year I photoshopped her in a reindeer costume and put her with three others pulling a sleigh, again, as a tiny part of the scene, but people really like them and always ask us where we got them done.

(But sorry, this is a little bit pointless as I make them myself and get them printed!) Wink

Branleuse · 04/11/2013 21:10

you like them cos its you sending them, not receiving them

curiousgeorgie · 04/11/2013 21:17

But I have received them and I like them, they just mix in with all the other cards and I love the idea of the effort that went into it rather than just signing a picture that means nothing to you.
