Which one is more suitable for a 7 and 11 year old?

Labyrinth is my son's fav game.
Sorry no answer to your q :)

Nope they are totally different.

Get both.

:o

In seriousness...

Carcassonne: you have tiles with bits of castle on them and you need to place them (and little men) strategically to get points.

Labyrinth: you have a board with some fixed pieces and the rest are placed in at random. You have cards with 'treasures' and you have to move the maze by sliding the tiles in, and create a path.

Both games are strategic and require forward planning. I'd say Labyrinth is a slightly 'younger' game (although my whole family including teens love it) so if you're only getting one, I'd say go for that one this year.

Ok thank you! Labyrinth is the one in all the shops, though I like the box of Carcassonne better!

I'm not sure, can you play both games with just two people?

yep :) both are better with 3+ but you can play with 2

in fact you can actually play labyrinth on your own (to see how few moves you can complete it in)

not that I've ever done that. Oh no. Ahem.

when they are a little older settlers of catan is also brilliant but at least both be over 11 I think to make the game fairer
