Best mincemeat (from supermarket) for mince pies?

What it says on the tin really.

Haven't really lived in the UK for years so am out of touch. My colleague is going to Edinburgh next week and in a moment of inspired nostalgia, I asked if she could bring me back some mincemeat so I could (for once!) have mince pies for Christmas.

So, what are your best and recommended jars of mincemeat please?

I suppose anything from Waitrose own brand range is good quality. They also have christmas cake kits that have the ingredients pre measured so all you need are eggs & cake tins.

The specially selected range mincemeat in Aldi is lush (their basic range one is really good for the price too)

I like a cranberry one that Waitrose make.

I have used Aldi's Brandy mincemeat for several years. However, when I bought my usual three jars last Christmas the mixture appeared very sloppy, certainly lacking fruit. I emailed my complaint and Aldi admitted a change of manufacturer. Not for the better.
