Garage recommendations for nearly 3 yr old DS?

Hello!

We want to get DS a garage for Christmas as he is cars/trains/planes obsessed!

He has the toot toot drivers garage but has outgrown it as its only really suitable for very little ones.

My DM has told (!) me that she's getting hot wheels one for her house for him.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

We have the big city garage from early learning centre and ds play with it everyday.

Thanks! Smile

I'll have a look at that now!

DS had a similar one to this: www.amazon.co.uk/Fisher-Price-Little-People-Racin-Garage/dp/B000NWTHUY

He loved it, and it lasted for years.

Sainsbury toy sale had a wooden one in with 70% off.

Another vote for the big city one from ELC - it used to come with 50 cars, too.

Bought it for ds1 when dd1 was born. That was nearly 6 years ago. It is still played with nearly every day (even, occasionally, by ds1 Grin).

We have this that connects up to the big city garage. Ds had it for Christmas when he was 3 and he's almost 7 now and it's been out this morning so def had our money's worth out of it!

Is the wooden version of the big city garage any good? I was going to get the plastic one but the wooden one is half price at the moment.

My dm has the wooden one at her house. Dh had to glue it together as it kept falling apart and tbh it hardly gets played with.

Does look nice though!

Thanks Sunny that's really helpful. I think the plastic one is probably worth the extra money. He'll love it and hopefully get a lot of use out of it. 20% off today as well!
