If lost then see message 2 on the first page for the codes/info collated from previous threads (to save slow loading for those using phones).

Hmm Just checked the Murad site and it is showing as Payment received. So I have no idea, if I don't have an email by the end of tomorrow I will give them a ring and check.

Reastie · 03/11/2013 20:57

ewe oh crap, I cancelled all my magazine direct debits today as I panicked I'd forget, so I've probably just cancelled my photography mag/gorilla pod :( Oh well.

Night Reastie hope a good nights sleep makes you feel better.

Oreocrumbs · 03/11/2013 21:00

tits I used this code on Tesco direct a on Friday night. TDXR-4TVN it's £5 off a £20 spend.

Best I could find (and I was spending £400) so was a bit gutted, but every little helps as they say Wink.

RhondaJean · 03/11/2013 21:01

Reastie you should probably be ok as it's the first payment so it won't show in your dd list until they try to take the payment out, I cancelled a couple before the payment came out and it asked me did I want to let that payment happen or not, obviously I let it be cancelled after that first payment.

Anyone got a Next code by any chance?

ValiumQueen · 03/11/2013 21:22

I had a confirmation for Murad pretty much instantly. I love it how most of us are getting it for ourselves. Good to see.

Eddas · 03/11/2013 21:24

I just checked and my Murad emai went into junk mail.

Also, I ordered the Country living mag and I haven't emailed to cancel, I just cancelled the dd, will this be enough or should I be emailing them too?

WhereBeThatBlackbirdTo · 03/11/2013 21:25

Cat - thanks for the Book People codes. I've just ordered a book I've been looking at for ages - bargain!

WannaBeCareerWoman · 03/11/2013 21:25

Thank you so much for these threads, although I cannot keep up! Was wondering if anyone had any ideas for men? I have the major gift sorted out but need some funzies. Thanks!

LaTrucha · 03/11/2013 21:27

I have just started using the Murad stuff. It is lovely and gentle. I have very sensitive skin and although I can't afford the Murad stuff, it has made me think of changing to something like gentle Weleda. Really nice.

dementedma · 03/11/2013 21:28

Like the wobbly whisky glasses. Will get them for dh

Mellowandfruitful · 03/11/2013 21:32

Yes, actually, the Murad stuff had better not be too good as I can't afford to make it a habit. Either that or the anti-ageing effect needs to last for at least 5 years. Smile

PoopPoooDeDooo · 03/11/2013 21:34

BeaWheesht · 03/11/2013 22:02

Anyone got any inspiration of what to get my dad? He's in his 70s and very unwell and suffers from arthritis as well as other serious health complaints. He's unable to get out much so tickets or vouchers aren't much use, his mind isn't what it was so puzzles etc no use and he doesn't watch DVDs, can't read and refuses to listen to audiobooks. He isn't allowed to drink and have made him food hamper in past and he wasn't exactly overwhelmed. He's also a miserable so and so and hard to please!

He likes gardening but is very limited in what he's able to achieve, has always liked building and making things but again his hands aren't the best these days, errr that's it really.

Help! Budget of £30 or so.

BeaWheesht · 03/11/2013 22:03

To clarify he can read just his eyesight is bad so he couldn't sit and read a book but could read in short bursts eg instructions.

dementedma · 03/11/2013 22:06

Oh dear. I'm not very good at links. Someone posted earlier - they are from John Lewis. I will have to trawl back and find the link
