'Trying' to be organised for xmas ahead of moving.

Its currently looking likely that we will be moving begining/mid December so things are going to be pretty hectic without xmas to think about too.
So far ive got 99% of the girls presents and have them wrapped and packed. Ive got most of the niece/nephews sorted too.

Stuck for ideas on adults though. Though I would just do vouchers ect but that feels abit lazy. Ive usually got all sorts of home made stuff on the go by now.

Basically if anyone has any time saving/easy/ tips then shout at me! I feel sooooo disorganised!

Ha us too! Bit mad. Think I might regret it later on Grin

My mum said she did vouchers the year we moved. Just do it - nowt wrong with it. DO NOT make stuff yourself - you're just making life un-neccessarily hard. You need to make life easy, focus on having a nice family Christmas rather than 'things' iyswim.

Children's presents are being wrapped and left at my mothers. Considering getting storage - just for stuff I know we won't need for months, like summer clothes etc. Its cheaper than I thought it would be. Like idea of packing stuff now and getting it out of the way.

Oh and with regards to moving - there are loads of lists, just google it. Think bbc has one, as does money saving expert.

Give adults a lottery ticket with a box of chocs/wine/biscuits. Depending on budget.

I agree, make things easy for yourself. And also, shift all the presents for relatives to their homes to put away for Christmas, you don't need to hold onto those through the move. Is anyone able to look after your DC's presents for you as well?

The storage unit sounds a good idea.
