Tell me please - when do I need to start making my dishwasher/ Xmas vodka?

There was a fab thread last year but I was too late. This year I want to make Christmas pudding rum and vanilla and pomegranate vodka with recipes I stole from last year. But when do I need to start and any other fab mixes you recommend?

skittles work well too - seperate out the colours, then one colour per bottle and you have rainbow vodkas.

didn't make but apparently after eight mints is good too.

with using the dishwasher, all the work is done, so you don't need to make it till nearer to christmas. You can make without using the dishwasher, but basically you have to start now and shake the bottle every day or so until all is dissolved.

i made skittle vodka last year for my friends. went down really well.

but i think i may have to try dishwasher vodka.

ohhh i made skittle vodka by hand though the shiving (use coffee filters are good.. the long you leasve them the better they are..but you can still make a good bath in 48 hours. )

i may try lemon sherbits... do these still need shiving?
