Is it possible to get Amazon vouchers in US Dollars (but pay on UK site in £) to send as Christmas gifts to family in USA?

yes, it's really easy if I remember correctly - you can do it as an email code in a fancy Christmas email etc. I've certainly done it in the past but not for a few years.
