Yes, they are very different, my boys...
We will get a real tree a couple of weeks into December from local forest on a Saturday. We will bring it back and decorate it and then have fondue for tea on the floor beneath the lit-up tree. That is a very random tradition I started last year. We will then watch a Christmas film for the first time this year.
Christmas Eve, on returning from a walk, the boys will receive onsie each, dressing gown and animal hot water bottles.
