Anyone know where i can get some older boys stocking fillers.. can be tounge in cheek or jokey, puzzles and games are good, so far i have seen a few bits like

www.amazon.co.uk/Mikado-Wooden-Box/dp/B003WZFBYA/ref=sr_1_11?s=kids&ie=UTF8&qid=1382539645&sr=1-11

And

www.amazon.co.uk/Sudoku-Cube/dp/B001CDZLU8/ref=sr_1_1?s=kids&ie=UTF8&qid=1382539853&sr=1-1&keywords=sudoku

The guys i am looking for got www.amazon.co.uk/Addictaball-Large-Maze-Puzzle-Game/dp/B0031J8Q4E/ref=pd_sim_k_h_b_cs_74 Last year and LOVED it

Both enjoy "silly" and "puzzely" things.... also have had origami and paper airplane sets and real working model helicopters (from another family member)

Ds who has two of your links liked this in his stocking last year.

storminabuttercup · 23/10/2013 17:00

Do you mean for an actual stocking

For DP I'm thinking
Keyring bottle opener
Mini bottle of red
Novelty socks
Scratch card
Bag of midget gems

Bit lost after that....

Furball · 23/10/2013 17:00

Don't get the pick up sticks from there! - £8.44 postage Confused

IWantToBeADragon · 23/10/2013 17:16

Lol, not an actual stocking - Bit too old for them, but normally they get a hamper type thingy, male smellies, chocolates, socks, underpants, this year an engraved hipflask as well... and a couple of puzzle things, or a fun thing that they can mess around with.. Maybe even nerf guns?
23 and 27 just they havent grown up when they are together Hmm, as they only manage to hang out and chill together at christmas, i shall forgive them lol Grin

Ouch didnt notice the postage, nope will defiantly look elsewhere

I printed out instructions for making a death star tree bauble in lego a couple of years ago and ordered all the pieces from the lego pick a brick service. Some google might find other patterns?

VoldemortsNipple · 23/10/2013 21:06

scrabble cufflinks £1.69

lilolilmanchester · 23/10/2013 21:17

You're never too old for proper stockings!! How old are they and do they still live at home?

awakemysoull · 23/10/2013 21:36

Try firebox.co.uk

They are brilliant

CoffeeChocolateWine · 23/10/2013 21:49

Novelty ice cube trays are quite fun - I got a space invader one for my DH a couple of years ago and he loves it! Ha ha, big kid!
Small torch?
Bottle opener/corkscrew
Book?

CoffeeChocolateWine · 23/10/2013 21:50

Sorry, just realised you're asking where not what!

iwantoneofthose.com is pretty good.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 23/10/2013 21:53

IWantToBeADragon · 24/10/2013 14:22

TheSurgeonsMate - thats fantastic!

Having a good look on firebox, thank you for that suggestion :)

Cufflinks arent really there style, thank you tho @ VoldemortsNipple

LiloLilManchester 23 and 27 Christmas is the only time they get a good old play together, they live 200 miles apart now!

Pretty much anything they can be competitive at, silly with, or argue about will work wonders Hmm

Haha, 70isaLimitNotaTarget They DO get fun things to do, normally they spend the day helping with the kids, setting up marble runs, puzzles, building whatever tat we have bought all the children, eating chocolate, and arguing... Grin

iTunes card
Toblerone or chocolate orange
Wasabi peanuts
Christmas pants
Christmas socks
Aftershave balm or moisturiser (travel size possibly)
Miniature of favourite spirit

lilolilmanchester · 24/10/2013 20:49

My DS is early 20s so watching this with interest. Yours are older so not sure if my ideas will help. He usually gets boxers and socks (boring, but he'd never buy them for himself) and toiletries... And still loves a selection box Shocki try to think of some more interesting / fun things but not easy. Last year got him a shark magnetic bottle opener for the fridge (It was cheaper than that but first link I found) with one of those 4 packs of world beer. He's a student so also put in food things like burrito kits and various spices. Hawkins bazaar have some good things - I got some 'cooling post curry bottom wipes' and toilet roll with jokes. Bit pricey but good for ideas. This year am struggling. So far have got him some touch screen gloves and a sudoku cube. Might get him a cribbage board. Beyond that a t shirt or two and maybe some vouchers for pizza hut/cinema/bowling for him and gf. hoping for inspiration from this thread (he's getting money towards a new laptop so will just be getting stocking fillers)

CrotchStitch · 24/10/2013 22:05

DH, DSDad and DS have a set of little wooden boats from Tickseed in their stockings (IIRC they cost the princely sum of 60p each!)
We have a little river outside our house so they can race them between the bridges while I drink Baileys by the fire
You can also buy wind up racing nuns, grannies etc which might be fun :o

IWantToBeADragon · 24/10/2013 22:52

Lil This Went down a treat with them both, a few years ago, as a joint present (though it went off to uni with one)

They only get a stocking/hamper from me and MIL, cause they as for money towards something normally, so same as your situation.

Remote control helicopter was adored Hmm
These

SpudGuns!

Oh this year they also have Catapults!

I am all out of ideas, done this type of thing for 5 years Confused
