Hi, I don't have a clue what to get DD for Xmas, and she doesn't know what she wants. Am getting books/dvd/sweets etc. for stocking, but need a "main" present, something around the £30-£40 mark.

She has some Sylvanian families and playmobil (likes the SF caravan best, and all the little plasters in the playmobil animal clinic!), doesn't like dolls, princesses, or fairies. Doesn't need any more craft kits.

She plays most of all with her lego so I am getting her some more of that, but need an idea for something else.

Anyone with any bright ideas? Something so fabulous she never realised she really wanted it?

Thanks in advance!

I have a five and a half year old DD and just got her the Playmobil Carry Along House which is lovely....she's also getting a new scooter....or you could get her a nice wooden kitchen? There's lots on offer.

What about a 'my first laptop'? I've bought my dd (who will be 6 in Jan) this one: www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/9084357.htm £42.99 or there's the white one for £39.99

Thank you for the reply ICameOnTheJitney. DD already has a little SF carry-along house, and a scooter she loves. Has a wooden kitchen already, it's hardly played with now.

Any other suggestions very gratefully received thank you!

Mine wants this

We are getting her the Playmobil carry along house as above, Junior Scrabble, a Time Teacher Watch and some new pens/colouring books

How about a CD Player, I got my dd one similar to this last Christmas and she loves it. She loves listening to CD books and when she has a friend over, loud music! You can also get them with mic, so she can sing along (got one of those for my youngest from ELC).

Thanks for these suggestions, will be running them past DH this evening! I like the idea of a cd player, she has asked for one actually so might be a good idea. Thank you.

My daughter wants Lego friends Olivia's house and its her birthday 3 days before Christmas so I'm getting her sylvanian families cedar lodge from home bargains, they have it with a car and 3 figures for £50.

My dd has this www.amazon.co.uk/Blue-Friends-Peanut-Hamsters-House/dp/B007Y5AU1I/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1382555401&sr=8-1&keywords=Blue+nose+lamp

It's quite cute and its a great nightlight, as she hates the dark!
